We need to have final camp numbers (and all payments) by Aug 20, to meet our site booking requirements.
All welcome. We have booked out the whole place, so there is plenty of room.
CAMP TICKET COSTS & DETAILS
OPTION 1: CAMPING
Bring your own tent, van, camper, swag or bus.
All meals + accommodation for 2 nights:
- $130 per adult (aged 18 yrs or older)
- $80 per child (aged 17 yrs or younger). Kids 4yrs or younger are free. For families with 3 or more children, we can help with a fixed cost (email us for details).
OPTION 2: BUNKHOUSE / ON-SITE VAN
Van or bunkhouse provided.
All meals + accommodation for 2 nights:
- $140 per adult (aged 18 yrs or older)
- $90 per child (aged 17 yrs or younger) . Kids 4yrs or younger are free. For families with 3 or more children, we can help with a fixed cost (email us for details).
There are 6 Bunkhouses that each sleep 4-8 people. We will do our best to allocate one family/friend group per bunkhouse.
However, if you would like to sleep on your own/not share, we suggest you bring your own tent or caravan and book option 1 above. If you don’t have your own van, we suggest you could hire your own caravan using a private company (there are lots of these services down south, where you pay for them to have a caravan set up on arrival). They set it up fully kitted out and then take it away for you at the end. Some of these have toilets/showers in the van.
Please Note:
Prices are for 2 nights minimum and include all meals and accommodation. Everyone needs to bring their own sleeping gear (sheets, pillows, sleeping bag) and bath towel.
Please note that all bathrooms/showers are shared (e.g large ablution blocks).
We have limited places for bunkhouses and on-site built in vans, so please register early to avoid disappointment.
Cancellations and Refunds:
If you need to cancel before Aug 25, we will be able to refund you in full.
If you need to cancel after Aug 25, we will be able to refund you 50% of your portion of the ticket cost (we will have already had to pay for the accomodation).
If you need to cancel after Oct 1, (4 weeks before camp) there’s no refund (as we will have already had to pay for the accommodation and food).
Financial Assistance:
We would love everyone to be able to come on camp. If cost is a potential barrier to you being able to come on camp, please chat to Nina or Mel. You can also email westcitychurch@gmail.com.
Our church community has a financial sponsorship and ‘pay it forward’ program available, to assist those who may not be in a position to pay their full registration cost.
Pay it Forward:
– $20 or $50 or $100 or $200
If you are able to donate some finances to go towards those in our church community who may not be in a position to pay their full registration fee for camp, please do an online bank transfer to Westcity or via westcitychurch.com.au/GIVING and put ‘Camp Pay it Forward’ in the description. We will use this money to help out those in our community who may need a hand towards paying their camp fees, particularly single parent families, seniors, those out of work or others. All participants and recipients will remain anonymous.
Camp Schedule:
We will email you the week before camp with everything you need to know.
FRIDAY 1 November
- Arrival is anytime after 4 pm Fri and chill. You can rock up anytime but if you will be arriving after 8pm please let Mel know so that we can organize if you would like dinner saved or not, and to direct you to where you will be accommodated.
- Dinner 6pm – 8pm
SATURDAY 2 November
- 7-8 am: Morning prayer/ contemplation time / beach walk (optional)
- 8am: Breakfast
- 9 –12 Noon: Beach Fun / Free time / Relax / Chill
- 12 Noon : Lunch
- 1.30 – 4 pm: Free time or Group Afternoon Activity – your choice
- 4 – 6 pm: Free time
- 6pm Dinner, then Talent Show (if you are feeling brave) or free time or board games
SUNDAY 3 November
- 7-8 am: Morning prayer/ contemplation time / beach walk (optional)
- 8am: Breakfast
- 9 am: Pack up and tidy
- 10 am: Church service
- 12 Noon : Lunch
- 1pm: Pack up and tidy
- Depart by 1.30pm
Please Bring:
- Your own water bottle and re-useable coffee cup.
- Warm clothes (it gets cold at night).
- We have all day coffee, tea and some fruit snacks (with parental supervision please). It would be great if you can please bring your own snacks for between meals and/or the evening, if you need.
- Beach gear.
- Please note that the Westcity camp is an alcohol-free event.
- Please bring your own sleeping gear (sheets, pillows, sleeping bag) and bath towel.
Dietary requirements:
