YOUTH
Godzilla Youth runs on Saturday evenings, every fortnight for 11-15 year olds. Our youth group is all about building friendships with God and each other - Oh and we like having lots of fun whilst doing it. Our youth ministry is run by a great group of young adults who are doing an amazing work, leading and investing into our young people. Find out more
KIDS
Our mission in the Children’s Ministry is to “partner with parents so children can KNOW God’s Word, HEAR God’s Word and DO God’s Word.” To achieve our mission, we run weekly classes for all children aged 1 to 12 years. Every Sunday the following classes are available: Crèche (1-3 years), Noah’s Ark (3 years to Pre-Primary), Gospel Gang (Grade 1-Grade 4) and Preteens (Grade 5 & 6). Teens meet every fortnight for a Bible class and on alternate weeks, they meet for Youth on a Saturday evening. Every class is structured with time to read the Bible, hear the stories and find ways to apply it every day. All children (except little ones in Crèche) stay with their families for the worship part of the service. Visitors are always welcome and often come back to hear more and join in the fun activities.
HANDS OF FRIENDSHIP
We are a multi generational church and Hands of Friendship is an opportunity for those who have a spare morning to get together for some fun and fellowship. Hands of Friendship runs every Thursday at our Wembley facility from 9:30 am-12. Hands of Friendship is a great opportunity to meet up with others, play some games (table tennis, carpet bowls, mahjong, scrabble), as well as have some morning tea and a chat. Call Rod on 93872632 for more information.
GROUPS
We believe one of the main goals as a church is to connect people to Christ and then help them grow to maturity in Him. So we meet together beyond our Sunday gathering to do that. Some people meet one on one at coffee shops, others meet with a group of friends in their homes. If you want to get connected with a group then please click on the link and we will try and assist. ALPHA
We want people to really make informed decisions when deciding to follow Jesus. One of the of the ways we can inform people of what Christianity is all about is by their participation in the Alpha course. Specifically designed for people to come and explore what Christianity is all about. Find out more
Burma Kids Home - The background story
In June of 2012, a group of people from Westcity visited Thailand with a Burmese friend, Simon who had recently come to Australia as a refugee himself. We went to Sanalkabbri and there met some incredible people who were just trying to help others as Jesus taught us to. One of the places we visited was a home where a bunch of orphaned children were being cared for.
When we returned to Perth, we decided we would come together as a church community and raise funds for the needs we encountered at the home.
